About the Project

The operator of a Chick-fil-A franchise location in Oklahoma was pursuing a rare second location approval. The existing store would serve as the evaluation point for corporate decision-makers. Landscaping and grounds condition are part of how corporate assesses operator quality and attention to detail.

The Situation Before Willis

A Chick-fil-A operator in Oklahoma was pursuing a second location — an opportunity that’s rarely granted by corporate. He knew that corporate executives would visit his existing store as part of the approval process. His landscaping needed to stand out, so he called us to sort out the exterior of his store before his spring evaluation.

Our Solution

Leading up to the visit from corporate, we committed to an intensive preparation. We planted thousands of tulips and overseeded with rye grass, timing everything to peak in spring. When the corporate team arrived, the store was fully in bloom. The team shared that they’d never seen a Chick-fil-A look so good — a compliment we’re honored to hear!

Installed a large-scale tulip display designed to create a memorable spring presentation and maximize visual impact during a key corporate evaluation period.
Carefully planned planting schedules to ensure the landscape reached peak color and performance when Chick-fil-A corporate representatives visited the property.
Overseeded with rye grass to create a lush, vibrant lawn that complemented the seasonal color installations and elevated the overall appearance of the site.
Helped create a standout first impression ahead of a rare second-location evaluation, reinforcing the operator’s reputation for quality and attention to detail.

The Biggest Wins

  • Strategic seasonal execution of tulips that delivered an impressive bloom
  • Operator saw landscaping as a competitive advantage
  • Bonus! Second location approval secured
